Scarecrow's popular and highly acclaimed Historical Dictionaries are now available in paperback. The A to Z Guide Series provides essential information on particularly important or timely topics at a more accessible price to help public and school libraries with their current budget cuts. These paperback editions of the historical dictionaries include the same information as the historical dictionaries, including a chronology, an introduction, appendixes, a dictionary section with hundreds of cross-referenced entries, and a bibliography. This makes them ideal for students-as they are frequently assigned as suggested reading by teachers and professors-while also meeting the needs of the general public.
