Relive the joys of old-time motorsport race and rally cars with motoring journalist Alan Anderson as he takes you on a nostalgic trip celebrating saloons, roadsters and coupés from the late 1950s – think classics such as the Ford Anglia – all the way to the 1990s, the decade that brought us one of the best-selling two-seater sports cars of all time: the iconic Mazda MX-5.

My Dad Raced One of Those presents fifty of the most successful classic race and rally cars from this period, detailing what made them such formidable cars across the different disciplines of racing, rallying, sprinting and hill climbing. Above all, it’s a celebration of a golden era of motorsport and how you, too, can experience the thrills of this accessible, low-cost motorsport all over again.

Entertaining and informative in equal measure, this is a must-read for classic-car enthusiasts and lovers of motorsport alike.
