When pharmaceutical scientist Dr David Hamilton observed the results of tests on new drugs, he noticed that patients receiving the control placebo pills reported the same level of improvement as people receiving the actual drug. Seeing this result repeat itself time and time again, he became fascinated by the mind-body connection and started to research the work of scientists, mystics and healers working in this field. The result is this ground-breaking book, in which Dr Hamilton explains how the mind and emotions can influence the wellbeing of our body and even the structure of our DNA.In this edition of David's influential book he has added information from recent scientific studies and the latest extraordinary evidence about:- the physical impact of meditation on the body- why sending thoughts of healing to a person helps them to heal- how the power of love impacts the growth of cells in the body- how our thoughts and feelings affect how quickly we heal
