Biographical note

Simran Jeet Singh, Ph.D, is the author of the national bestseller, The Light We Give: How Sikh Wisdom Can Transform Your Life (Riverhead, Penguin Random House). Simran earned graduate degrees from Harvard University and Columbia University, and he writes regularly for major outlets, including Harvard Business Review, TIME Magazine, and Religion News Service. He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters, where he enjoys running, writing, and chasing his kids. Fauja Singh Keeps Going is his first children's book. Baljinder Kaur is an illustrator based in London. A graduate of Cambridge School of Art, she is passionate about the power of children’s books and their ability to transcend barriers and transform our social landscapes. As well as illustrating books herself, Baljinder also teaches illustration and drawing.
