'The book is not just a celebration of dance, but a powerful statement on the unity and diversity that art can foster... The diversity of the dancers featured in Expression of Freedom is another testament to Brookes’s commitment to showcasing a broad spectrum of human experience. The book features an eclectic mix of dancers, from acclaimed professionals like Matthew Ball of the Royal Ballet to street performers whose passion for dance is just as powerful... In Expression of Freedom: Through the World of Dance, Matthew Brookes not only captures the grace and beauty of dance but also the deeper emotions and connections that make it a universal language.' - The Rakish Gent
