Biographical note

Dr Gareth Moore (B.Sc (Hons) M.Phil Ph.D) is the author of a wide range of brain-training and puzzle books for both children and adults, including best-selling Ordnance Survey Puzzle Book, Brain Games for Clever Kids and The Mammoth Book of New Sudoku, plus many dot-to-dot, maze and activity books. He is also the creator of online brain training site www.BrainedUp.com, and runs the daily puzzle website www.PuzzleMix.com. He gained his Ph.D from Cambridge University.

Laura Jayne Ayres is a puzzle writer and researcher. After studying Linguistics at the University of Cambridge, she worked as a playwright before joining Dr Gareth Moore’s puzzle team. Books that she has worked on include Hacked: The Cyber Crime Puzzle Book, The Great British Puzzle Book, The Perfect Crime Puzzle Book, The Nautical Puzzle Book and The Ordinance Survey Kids’ Adventure Book.
