I loved Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat, Pray, Love, passed to me by a friend
- Hillary Clinton,
What she does is very courageous and very difficult, though ultimately liberating, and I think we all wish that one day we would feel a certain way about ourselves and really do something about it
- Julia Roberts,
I loved it
- Meg Ryan,
If a more likable writer than Gilbert is currently in print, I haven’t found him or her ... Gilbert’s prose is fueled by a mix of intelligence, wit and colloquial exuberance that is close to irresistible
- Jennifer Egan,
It’s like listening to your wisest and funniest best friend opening their heart to you. It taught me a lot about patience and optimism
