Biographical note
Milan Simic holds PhD, Masters and Bachelor of Electronics Engineering, and Graduate Diploma in Education. He is currently with RMIT University, School of Engineering. At the same time, he is Professor: MB, Faculty of Business and Law, Belgrade, Serbia; Adjunct Professor: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), School of Computer Engineering, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India; Honorary Editor: KES Journal; Editor: International Transactions on Evolutionary and Metaheuristic Algorithms; Former Associate Director: Australia-India Research Centre for Automation Software Engineering, RMIT University. He has comprehensive experience from industry (Honeywell Information Systems), Research institute and Academia, from Europe and Australia. For his innovations and other contributions, he has received prestigious awards and recognitions. Dr Simic is member of large number of engineering and science associations. He conducts multidisciplinary research in the following areas: Management, Engineering Education, Electrical Vehicles, Intelligent Transport Systems, Automotive Electronics, Physical Systems Modelling (Physical Networks), Autonomous Systems, Mechatronics, Robotics, Human - Computer Interface and Interaction, Biomedical Engineering, Green Energy Production, Wireless Transfer of Energy, Information Theory, Digital Coding, Run Length Limited Coding.
Vikrant Bhateja is associate professor in Department of Electronics Engineering Faculty of Engineering and Technology (UNSIET), Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He holds a doctorate in ECE (Bio-Medical Imaging) with a total academic teaching experience of 20 years with around 190 publications in reputed international conferences, journals and online book chapter contributions; out of which 40 papers are published in SCIE indexed high impact factored journals. One of his papers published in Review of Scientific Instruments (RSI) Journal (under American International Publishers) has been selected as “Editor Choice Paper of the Issue'' in 2016. Among the international conference publications, four papers have received “Best Paper Award''. He has been instrumental in chairing/co-chairing around 30 international conferences in India and abroad as Publication/TPC chair and edited 52 book volumes from Springer-Nature as a corresponding/co-editor/author on date. He has delivered nearly 22 keynotes, invited talks in international conferences, ATAL, TEQIP and other AICTE sponsored FDPs and STTPs. He has been Editor-in-Chief of IGI Global--International Journal of Natural Computing and Research (IJNCR) an ACM & DBLP indexed journal from 2017-22. He has guest edited Special Issues in reputed SCIE indexed journals under Springer-Nature and Elsevier. He is Senior Member of IEEE and Life Member of CSI.
Ahmad Taher Azar is a full Professor at College of Computer and Information Sciences (CCIS), Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is a leader of Automated Systems and Soft Computing Lab (ASSCL), Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. He is currently an editor for IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Springer's Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences, and Elsevier's Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Azar was named one of the top 2% of scientists in the world in Artificial Intelligence by Stanford University, based on single-year impact and career-long impact. These rankings were published by Stanford University in the PLOS journal and were based on the SCOPUS database. Prof. Azar has expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Control Theory and Applications, Robotics, Machine Learning, Computational Intelligence and dynamical system modeling. He has authored/co-authored over 500 research papers in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings.
E. Laxmi Lydia is a Professor in the Department of Information Technology at VR Siddhartha Engineering College(A), Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (Deemed to be University). Her prolific academic career is marked by the authorship and co-authorship of over 336 ISI journal articles, boasting an impressive total Impact Factor of 486+. Additionally, she has contributed to more than 170 Scopus indexed articles and over 80 high impact factor SCIE journals. Dr. Lydia has also played a significant role as an author and editor of conference proceedings and book chapters. Her editorial contributions extend to serving as an editor, Lead Editor, and Guest Editor for various Scopus and SCIE journals. Actively engaged in academic activities, she has participated in seminars, paper presentations, and research paper reviews, and served as a convener and session chair for numerous conferences. Dr. Lydia's commitment to continuous learning is evident in her successful acquisition of new knowledge and the application of innovative pedagogies, aligning with her goal of being an effective educator with a global outlook. Dr. Lydia's current research interests span healthcare applications, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Data Science. She has showcased her expertise by guest-editing several special issues for various journals. Additionally, she has delivered multiple keynotes talks and actively contributed as a reviewer for technology-leading articles in journals. Her multifaceted contributions underscore her dedication to advancing knowledge and excellence in the academic and research domains.
