The Terra Nova Expedition 1910-13, commanded by Robert Falcon Scott, is the most famous polar expedition in history. For more than one hundred years, the expedition and its leader have been the topics of many discussions and hundreds of books, articles and television documentaries. Scott's and Apsley Cherry-Gerrard's well written accounts of the expedition are still being printed in new editions in many countries. This book contains the stories of the Terra Nova Expedition. The Southern Party, the Northern Party and "The Worst Journey In The World", as well as Herbert Ponting's iconic photographs are all included. In addition, it includes an article by Beau Riffenburgh on the topic of Science vs the Pole on the Terra Nova Expedition. Second in command Edward Evans' own lecture on the expedition from the Royal Geographical Society in 1913 is also included.
