This book contains thought provoking, fun and unusual ideas to liven up PSHE lessons that will inspire teachers and pupils. The activities in these books aim to help pupils explore their own and other's attitudes, values and beliefs, develop skills (communication/emotional literacy) and consider other PSHE/Citizenship issues outlined in the non-statutory curriculum. Molly's ideas could be used to supplement any existing programme or scheme of work and they could also be used to complement the SEAL Curriculum (DfES: Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning). The thing that makes these books different from other PSHE resources is they provide a completely new and fresh approach to the teaching of PSHE - using many active learning techniques to prompt discussions and provide opportunities for pupils to thrash out issues together. This book is full of hands on inspirational ideas!
