Focused in minimal invasive urology and innovative new urological procedures. Several international clinical and basic research awards, as AUA-ACMI-prize 2002, Alken-prize  2001, Munich Innovation prize 2001. Swiss national research foundation and several competitive grants since 10 years. Published over 100 original papers, description of several new operative techniques in radical prostatectomy and urinary incontinence and more than 400 scientific contributions. Editor of the Textbook "Robotic Urology", together with P. Wiklund (Springer, 2008), second edition 2013.  First urologic daVinci-procedures in Switzerland 2002. One of the most experienced DaVinci-console surgeons in Europe with over 3000 console surgeon daVinci-procedures including radical prostatectomy, cystectomy, pyeloplasty, partial nephrectomy and many live, and guest proctorships abroad.

Peter Wiklund, MD, PhD, FRCS (Hon), Professor and Director of the Bladder Cancer Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at the Mount Sinai Health System and Professor in Urology at the Karolinska Institutet Stockholm Sweden. Dr Wiklund is a world-renowned surgeon who pioneered robot-assisted cystectomy, and prior to joining Mount Sinai, Wiklund was Chair of Urology, Molecular Medicine, and Surgery, and Professor of Urology at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden, where he built a leading cystectomy program. He has performed more than 4,500 robotic operations and has extensive experience in advanced oncological surgery in patients whose tumor is growing on several pelvic organs (multi-organ tumor, bladder, prostate, colorectal, ovarian, and uterine). Dr. Wiklund has travelled the world as an invited lecturer and has performed live educational surgeries throughout Europe, Asia, and South America. He is chair of the scientific working group of the European Urology Robotic Section of the European Association of Urology and is an international member of the American Urological Association. He has authored more than 400 peer-reviewed publications and 45 review articles and has been the editor and contributing author for three textbooks on robot-assisted surgery.
